Job Introduction

  • Administration Assistant (Repairs Department)
  • Beaverbrooks Head Office, Lytham St Anne's 
  • Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm) 
  • £9.50 per hour (£18,588.76 per annum) + excellent benefits 
  • Closing date: Sunday 19th February
  • Informal Chats: 22nd and 23rd February
  • Interviews: 1st and 3rd March

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and motivated individual to work within our Beaverbrooks Repairs Department at our Head Office as our Administration Assistant/Administrator.

As our Repairs Administration Assistant you will work as part of a busy team and work towards the department’s goal of providing a quality, efficient and knowledgeable service; using your own initiative to make both cost effective repairs decisions for our customers, along with for our stock repairs too.

Role Responsibility

  • Processing of both customer and stock repairs- including making the decisions on where best to send the repairs for both; best quality repair and best cost.
  • Processing of customer and stock repairs when they have then been returned to the department – including: ensuring all work requested has been carried out to standard, communicating the costs to both the customer and stores via email and making decisions on how best to return to our stock departments as well .
  • Inputting data onto our customer database.
  • Liaising with suppliers and stores via phone or email in regards to repairs.
  • Processing relevant department admin. 
  • Internal security checks - ensuring that the stock has been processed/ transferred to the relevant areas on our systems.

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel & Word
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • A good team player
  • Ability to work to own initiative
  • Good decision making skills
  • Computer literate

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Flexibility to work the hours required for business needs is desirable
  • Some existing knowledge of jewellery is desirable
  • Previous experience of working to process
