We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Brand Manager to join the Beaverbrooks Marketing department at our Head Office in Lytham St Annes.

 

As the Beaverbrooks Brand Manager, growing the national consumer awareness of Beaverbrooks, along with the positive perception of and engagement in the Beaverbrooks brands, will be at the heart of what you do. This exciting new role represents an increasing focus on brand for the business, and is being introduced at a significant milestone in the business’ history. You will be responsible for implementing the brand strategy for Beaverbrooks brands which will include development and management of the Beaverbrooks brand identities, planning and delivery of brand campaigns and communications, and ensuring the brand is delivered across all customer touchpoints in a compelling and cohesive way.

 

This role is based at our office in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire although the team are predominantly working remotely at present due to COVID. Options for remote working going forwards can be discussed at interview.

Role Responsibility

  • The Brand Manager will be responsible for the planning, briefing, implementation and reporting of:
    • Brand advertising campaigns and activity through the year to drive awareness, engagement and positive perception of the Beaverbrooks brands – working with external creative and media agencies and key internal channel teams.
    • Seasonal themes/stories to inspire customers across store network, website and channels during key times of year (e.g. Christmas/Valentines). 
  • They will work day-to-day with our two Brand Coordinators on these activities, along with team members across the marketing, production, eCommerce, store design and display departments. They will be the first point of contact for our creative and media planning agencies
  • The Brand Manager will input into channel planning and projects from the brand perspective. Ultimately ensuring brand objectives are delivered, alongside each channel’s own objectives and targets.
  • They will also be responsible for launching new product collections – developing collection identities and then creating and coordinating effective launch campaigns to take new collections to market. 
  • The Brand Manager will oversee the development of brand collateral and materials – including packaging, care materials, store content and displays, stationery and guides. They will also oversee development of brand guidelines, assets and tools to support the understanding and effective delivery of Beaverbrooks brands.
  • The Brand Manager will be the ultimate custodian of the brand asset library – ensuring always up to date, that all departments have everything they need, and all assets are being used consistently.
  • They will also be a checkpoint for creative outputs from across the business to support brand consistency across the board. To include promotions, events, social media, CRM collateral, digital marketing, display/store branding and recruitment advertising
  • The Brand Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and monitor key brand metrics and be accountable for these, regularly reporting to the business.
  • They will be the champion for Customer within the marketing team – implementing customer research projects, garnering and sharing insights to inform the wider team.
  • As one of four managers within the Marketing Team, the Brand Manager will be responsible for supporting the wider team, their wellbeing and development. They will be expected to be a positive role model of all the values and behaviours outlined in the Beaverbrooks Way

The Ideal Candidate

           ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • At least 2 years consumer brand marketing and campaign planning and management experience
  • A creative thinker and planner
  • Strong commercial awareness – with an ability to interpret and translate results in a meaningful way
  • Positive self-starting and solutions focused approach
  • Previous team management experience
  • Confident in working with creative and media agencies
  • A keen collaborator who can inspire and listen to others.
  • Leads by example
  • Has a keen passion for retail, jewellery and watches
  • Focused on customer needs and motivations
  • Ability to be adaptable and reactive and used to working in fast paced environments
  • Organised and efficient with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

            DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Previous customer research experience
