We are thrilled to announce the creation of a new role within our dynamic PMO team. We are seeking a passionate Change and Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing changes to our technology systems while ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including development teams and Technology Business Partners, to facilitate smooth change implementations and maintain operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess, document, and manage change requests related to technology systems and applications.
- Conduct risk and impact analyses to identify potential issues associated with proposed changes.
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, documenting results and facilitating resolution of any issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation for change management processes and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies regarding quality and change management.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of changes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Liaise with business users, development teams, and other stakeholders to keep them informed about ongoing changes and quality assurance activities.
- Provide training and support to team members regarding change management and quality assurance best practices.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Ability to demonstrate the values and behaviours of the Beaverbrooks Way - The Beaverbrooks Way
- Proven experience in change management and quality assurance within an IT environment.
- Proven track record in managing change requests and executing quality assurance processes.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and project management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with change management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of technologies relevant to the retail industry is a plus.
