Job Introduction

  • Content & Social Media Assistant (eCommerce)
  • Permanent 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
  • Lytham St Annes, Lancashire 
  • £23,500 per annum + benefits + bonus
  • Closing date: Monday 25th November
  • Informal Chats: 26th and 27th November and 1st stage: w/c 2nd December

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone with a passion for digital and a desire to pursue a creative career within the fast-paced world of eCommerce, to join us here at Beaverbrooks as eCommerce Content & Social Assistant. 

In this exciting and varied role, you will work within the eCommerce Content Marketing Team and support a variety of content functions across both Beaverbrooks and Loupe, a luxury watch and jewellery brand which is now part of the Beaverbrooks family, including copywriting, creating assets and supporting with organic social.  


Main Responsibilities 

  • Support the needs of the Content Marketing Team across a variety of content functions, including copywriting, supporting the execution of the organic social calendar and creating digital assets.
  • Write both longform and shortform copy across a wide variety of channels, including the website, blog, email, social and offline marketing materials in the Beaverbrooks and Loupe tone of voice.
  • Assist with the creation of social content, including writing copy, producing assets and filming/editing videos.
  • Be involved with monitoring, editing and publishing of our blogs, The Beaverbrooks Journal and In the Loupe.
  • Support with the scheduling and publishing of social posts across platforms.
  • Working with the team to compile editorial and social reports.
  • You may attend Beaverbrooks and Loupe events & shoots to produce live and/or ‘behind the scenes’ social content for our channels.
  • Support with the community management of our social channels, including engaging with user comments/messages/posts alongside the monitoring of our UGC tool Pixlee.
  • Create engaging and on-brand assets for digital channels, including the website, affiliates and the blog.
  • Support with the coordination of campaign photography/video shoots.

The Ideal Candidate 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Copywriting 
  • Basic Photoshop skills 
  • Social media – creating content and/or scheduling 
  • Passion for online shopping and digital content 
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and consistency 
  • Excel working towards deadlines and in a fast-paced, reactive environment 

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience working within an eCommerce team
  • Experience using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest 
  • Experience in video editing
