We have a fantastic opportunity for two Digital Marketing Assistants to join our fast-growing eCommerce team. One of these positions will be to support with the digital marketing for our fabulous Beaverbrooks website and the other will focus on our new luxury watch and jewellery brand, Loupe, whose eCommerce website will launch later this year.

As an ideal candidate for our Digital Marketing Assistant roles, you will have a passion for digital marketing and eCommerce, and you’ll be looking to enhance or begin your career in this industry.

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting with digital marketing activity through channels including Paid Social, Organic Search, Affiliates and PPC.

We are based at our head office in St Annes, Lancashire but our teams are currently operating a hybrid way of working with a mix of home and remote working. This can be discussed further at interview.

Role Responsibility

  • Assist with the creation of clear and concise briefs for social adverts and liaise with our Content team and external agency.

  • Optimise always-on paid social campaigns to ensure they are performant, and that creative is periodically refreshed.

  • Support the channel lead with our PPC search and shopping campaigns with the creation of PPC campaigns and other account optimisations.

  • Regularly audit our Google Merchant Centre account for any errors and work with our Trade team to update any missing product data.

  • Support the channel lead with organic search, getting involved with on-site optimisations such as updating meta-data for pages and implementing recommendations from our SEO agency.

  • Take ownership of the maintenance of our Google Business Profiles and Bing Places listings and other local search strategy tasks.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of our affiliate program, supporting on our affiliate communications and processing all affiliate validations.

  • Conduct regular analysis of all digital marketing activities and provide weekly and monthly digital marketing reports.

  • Analyse customer behaviour through ContentSquare and recommending improvements to customer journeys to improve all digital marketing activity.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential skills/ experience 

  • A passion for eCommerce and digital marketing
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel

Desirable skills/experience 

  • Experience / knowledge of the full digital marketing mix including SEO, social advertising, affiliates and PPC.
  • Experience using Google Analytics or a similar analytics package
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • eCommerce experience
