Job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Salary: £25,000-£27,000

Contract: 12-month maternity cover

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator to join our eCommerce team at our Office in Lytham St Anne’s, on a maternity cover of 12 months.

The role of the Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator is to expand the company’s online presence and drive high quality traffic to the website, whilst maximising ROI. This role will take a lead in SEO, ensuring that the website conforms to best-practice and working with our external SEO agency to deliver continual improvement in this area. Working alongside the other Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator, the role will also include Retargeting, Remarketing, Affiliate Marketing and Display advertising. Whilst the other Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator will take a lead in PPC and paid Social Media, there will be a requirement to provide support in this area at times.

Role Responsibility

  • Assist with the management of the Organic Search channel, which will include liaising with our external SEO agency, co-ordinating SEO changes within the team and making on-page optimisations yourself.
  • Monitor and report on Organic search performance, paying close attention to keyword rankings/positions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry developments relating to SEO best-practice and input into the business’ content strategy with SEO in mind.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company affiliate programme and work closely with key affiliate partners to co-ordinate bespoke promotional activity.
  • Co-ordinate and manage both in-house and 3rd party prospecting and retargeting campaigns.
  • Contribute to and manage tactical digital campaigns, including but not limited to display advertising.
  • Set objectives and targets, to ensure spend has clear expectations and a measurable return.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on all digital marketing activity so that stakeholders are kept up to date with performance. You will therefore need to be familiar with Google Analytics and its reporting capabilities.
  • Use SEO tools to gain insight into SEO performance and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Support our other Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator with PPC and Social Media advertising, as and when is required.
  • Support the team in improving overall user experience and achieving online sales targets.

ESSENTIAL

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A commercial attitude with experience of marketing budgets and KPIs
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Hands-on SEO experience working on a live website
  • Confident using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, MOZ and AWRCloud
  • Strong competencies in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using Google Analytics or a similar analytics package
  • A passion for all things digital

DESIRABLE

  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • A good understanding of eCommerce
  • Experience assisting with or managing digital marketing campaigns in the retail sector
  • Experience/knowledge of affiliate programmes
  • Experience managing Retargeting campaigns
