Flexible working is important in this role, with shifts scheduled across Monday to Sunday between 6am and 10pm.
Help us make every delivery special
We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated Dispatch Picking & Packing Assistants to join our busy Outbound team.
Our team plays a vital role in getting products where they need to be – from replenishing our Beaverbrooks stores to sending customer orders placed through our website, Mail Order and retail partners such as Next and Very.
You’ll help make sure every order is picked accurately, packed beautifully, and dispatched on time, ready to reach our customers and stores to the high standards we’re known for.
It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll be on your feet throughout your shift, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy, has a great eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right.
What you’ll be doing
- Picking and packing orders for our stores and customers
- Checking products are in perfect condition before dispatch
- Matching products to the correct customer or store
- Preparing labels and orders in line with shipping requirements
- Supporting the loading of carrier vehicles
- Working towards daily volume targets to make sure orders leave on time
- Supporting with packaging deliveries and requests
- Keeping your working area safe, clean and tidy
- Rotating between picking, packing and dispatching across our B2B and B2C channels
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to have worked in a warehouse before. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Transferable skills and experience from similar fast paced, target driven environments
- Punctual, enthusiastic and able to work at a fast pace
- Good rapport building skills and the ability to be adaptable
- Works well in a team but have good initiative to work alone
- Highly organised, self-motivated and hardworking
- A basic understanding of computers to operate the labelling process
- A keen eye for detail
- Proactive, with a ‘take action’ mindset
- Ability to demonstrate the values and behaviours of The Beaverbrooks Way
