Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our eCommerce Tech team.

As Beaverbrooks’ eCommerce Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of all technical projects, reporting into the eCommerce Technology Manager.

The eCommerce Project Manager will work closely with external technical partners and systems integrators to ensure the successful delivery of multiple project streams in the roadmap, from inception through to delivery.

Role Responsibility

  • Managing the delivery of all technical projects, overseeing quality, performance and scope, whilst controlling risks to timelines.
  • Uncovering and documenting business requirements for new enhancements and projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to define scope.
  • Co-ordinating UAT required for projects, working closely with the eCommerce Test Analyst to ensure this is completed to the standard required and that the acceptance criteria are met at all times.
  • Authoring project plans and ensuring these are communicated to the relevant parties.
  • Chairing regular project status meetings and producing accompanying written reports.
  • Monitoring project timelines and progress, pro-actively flagging any delays or missed milestones.
  • Managing project go-live, owning all business communications and ensuring that any training or other necessary arrangements have been made.
  • Setting clear project objectives/deliverables and ensuring these are met.
  • Co-ordinating Project Retrospectives, ensuring that all projects are reviewed, evaluated and learnings shared.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years’ project management experience in an IT or eCommerce role
  • Hands-on experience of managing both 3rd party and internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge and awareness of web technologies, architecture and software development.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • A passion for online/digital

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Domain experience of the Hybris platform and associated business tools
  • Experience of either planning user-testing, or conducting it first-hand
  • Hands-on experience managing complex eCommerce projects
