- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Office Based in Lytham St Anne's
- £18,500 per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic individual to join our growing IT department. This opportunity is suitable for an individual with an interest in Technology and a desire to pursue or progress, a career as a IT Support Analyst.
In this role you will be responsible for providing end user support to our store and office colleagues covering Microsoft Office, our inhouse developed EPOS system and responding to general day to day technology questions.
As this is an apprenticeship role, you will be enrolled on an apprenticeship training course in conjunction with our provider and you will be expected to study in your role and in your own time to gain your qualification as a Level 3 Digital Support Technician. You will learn by a variety of methods including online learning,in person training and webinars.
Please note this is a level 3 apprenticeship opportunity. This means we cannot accept anyone with an IT related qualification that is equivalent to level 3 or higher, or anyone who already has extensive experience in an IT related role.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing a great standard of IT support to our store and office colleagues across Windows and iOS platforms to cover trading hours - weekend and evening on call will be a part of the role on a rota basis once successfully completing transition.
- Supporting Microsoft Office and Applications
- End user training
- Assisting in software testing prior to release of our own in-house point of sale
- Assisting in the preparation of new store and replacement PC's and point of sale
- Some occasional travel to stores may be required to assist with problem resolution / installation
- Helping to ensure solutions are secure and data is protected according to the company policy
- Creation of release notes and user guides
- Playing a key part in achieving the team objectives, working continuously to deliver efficiencies and lower costs
- Keeping the helpdesk team leader well informed of the status of tasks and providing clear and realistic time scales
- Adhering to the best working practices as defined by industry standards across all areas of responsibility

The Ideal Candidate
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Five GCSE's with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English and Maths or equivalent to be accepted onto the apprenticeship course.
- An IT qualification or ability to demonstrate relevant IT experience.
- Ability to communicate well & work with other team members, departments and our store teams
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent analytical skills. attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience of Microsoft Windows
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Basic networking principles
