Job Introduction

  • In-house Recruiter 
  • Salary FTE £25,500 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits.
  • Full time, however we would also consider a part time (30 hours per week) contract either over 4 days, or 5 shorter days.
  • 12-month maternity cover contract
  • Hybrid working available - applicants must be able to commute to our office is Lytham St Annes.

This exciting opportunity is available for an experienced recruiter who will join our recruitment team of 6. The team are responsible for supporting the hiring managers across our 85 stores & all office departments, to attract & retain the best people for our business.

 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting applicants with any recruitment queries via the careers email & by phone.
  • Advertising of store & office vacancies via a variety of ad hoc methods, when necessary, to include job boards & social media platforms.
  • Assisting hiring managers & applicants with queries relating to our applicant tracking system.
  • Delivering ATS & recruitment training sessions to store & office hiring managers.
  • Managing office recruitment from initial meeting with hiring managers all the way through to offer stage.
  • Supporting office managers with writing engaging job adverts.
  • Proactive candidate searching via our ATS talent pool, LinkedIn Recruiter & CV databases.
  • Creating & posting engaging content on company pages (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed).
  • Supporting hiring managers with invites & feedback for behavioural psychometrics.
  • Vacancy reporting.

Skills & Experience required

  • Recruitment experience either from in-house or agency, to include taking a role brief through to offer stage.
  • A passion for recruitment & providing the highest level of customer care for candidates & hiring managers.
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to recruitment.
  • Experience of using an applicant tracking system (ATS) – we use Tribepad.
  • Experienced of writing engaging job adverts.
  • Excellent communication & relationship building skills.
  • Ability to prioritise.
  • Good numeracy & literacy skills.
  • Computer literate – confident user of word, excel, Teams & the internet.
  • High attention to detail & levels of accuracy.
  • Understanding of Data Protection.

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Boolean searching & the use of a range of sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter & CV databases.
  • Previous experience working with behavioural psychometrics.
  • Previous experience of delivering recruitment training
