L&D and E-Learning Content Administrator

Job Introduction

Job Title: L&D and E-Learning Content Administrator 

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (9am- 5pm Monday to Friday) 

Salary: £17,900 (9.14 p/hr)- £18,750 (£9.58 p/hr) 

Close date: Sunday 12th May

Interview dates: 22nd-23rd May

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-organised individual to join our L&D Department here at our Head Office in Lytham St.Annes. The successful candidate will provide support to the department in an administrative capacity, along with the online content administration, development and analysis of the e-learning platform, our Beaverbrooks Knowledge Hub.

Role Responsibility

The role will predominantly involve the following:

E-Learning:

  • Updating & amending the existing e-learning content to reflect company changes
  • Evaluation of the existing learning materials and convert into online courses (with support)
  • Creation of engaging and interactive resources (images, graphics, video & audio) to meet the needs of learners
  • User testing of the system
  • Ensuring all branding featured are in line with current product stocked
  • General administration regarding e-learning users, courses and company structures
  • Analysis of survey completion and performance (individual, team & overall) via regular reporting

L&D Admin

  • Organisation of brand, external and internal (MDP, Office Induction, Supervisor & Manager) training- including organisation of hotel & travel bookings involved
  • Processing of invoices related to department and training
  • Processing of JET application and general administration relating to the course
  • Printing of learning materials
  • Management of department budgets & costs

 

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

It’s important that the successful candidate has the following skills and experience:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (to enable you to effectively support on helping with queries from both suppliers & store colleagues)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Project Management skills- ability to set own goals & project milestones
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous experience of managing online content such as administering an e-learning platform or similar application i.e. intranet site, website, blog etc.
  • Previous experience of creating basic reports
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software
  • DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

It’s advantageous if you also have the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of various Adobe Creative applications such as: Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro
  • Basic HTML 
  • Knowledge of the wider Microsoft 365 suite – To include things like Forms, 365 Video/Stream and Yammer
  • Experience of video filming & editing
  • Experience of the Vimeo video platform
  • Ability to consider different people’s learning requirements
  • Jet certificate/Diploma
