  • £25,000-£28,000 per annum depending on experience + office profit share bonus scheme + great benefits

Due to continued growth and expansion of our eCommerce team, we have a fantastic opportunity for a PPC Analyst/ Executive to join our Digital Marketing team. This role would be ideal for someone wanting to pursue a career in paid search and who has a passion for eCommerce and digital marketing.   

As our PPC / Paid Search Analyst you will have an exciting and varied role; working closely on paid search you’ll help ensure our campaigns meet high standards through day-to-day checks and optimisations plus you will support the growth of our website through other digital marketing channels such as Social, Affiliates and SEO.

We are based at our head office in Lytham St Annes but our teams are currently operating a hybrid way of working with a mix of home and remote working. This can be discussed further at interview.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager and Paid Search Manager to help run and optimise our PPC search and shopping campaigns.
  • Carry out day-to-day monitoring across Google, Google Merchant Centre, and Microsoft ensuring our Paid Search channel is running in line with strategy.
  • You will build paid search campaigns in line with strategy and best practise to support the business’ product launches and promotions.
  • You will carry out keyword research and negative keyword updates from search query reports.
  • You will write ad copy to support promotions, new products as well as maintaining current ad copy, and will also be responsible for the updates to our responsive ads as well as site extensions across our account.
  • You will carry out regular analysis of all digital marketing activities providing digital marketing reports and supporting in other channels such as affiliates, SEO and paid social.

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 

  • Hands-on experience with paid search campaigns
  • Experience assisting with online marketing activity, preferably in the retail sector
  • Experience using Google Analytics or a similar analytics package
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • A passion for eCommerce and the internet
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 

  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Google Ads verified
  • eCommerce experience
  • Experience/knowledge of the full Digital Marketing channel mix including SEO, social advertising, affiliates, and retargeting.
  • Experience with Google Merchant Centre, CSS and data feed management
