Job Introduction

Job Title : Payroll Administrator

Contract: Permanent, Part Time (25- 30 hours per week) 

Location: Lytham St Annes, Lancashire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join Beaverbrooks at our offices in Lytham St Annes. The roles has become available due to the retirement of one of our existing colleagues. The role is part time and is for between 25-30 hours per week and these hours can be worked over 4 or 5 days. 

Role Responsibility

The main aspects of the role would include

  • Recording of absence (holidays, sickness, maternity, paternity),
  • Timesheet calculations,
  • Attachment of earnings,
  • Dealing with queries, over the phone, by email and face to face,
  • Administration of employee benefits ie pensions & childcare vouchers.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Payroll experience from within a multifunction HR/payroll department
  • Basic excel & data entry skills
  • Experience of computerised payroll software (preferably Earnie but not essential)
  • Excellent verbal communicator
  • This role would suit someone who comes from an environment where there is a degree of flexibility with policy and procedure.
  • Payroll experience from a multisite or a retail background is desirable yet not essential.
