Job Title: Repairs Department Assistant
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)
Salary: £8.21p/hr (£16,064.61) - £8.35 p/hr (£16,328.81) depending on experience, rising to £8.52p/h (£16,672.50) - £8.68p/h (£16,995) depending on experience.

We now have a fantastic opportunity to join Beaverbrooks Repairs department as a Repairs Assistant. As Beaverbrooks’ Repairs Assistant, you will be responsible for both making cost effective decisions for our stock repairs and providing the best options for our customers as well.
The Repairs Department at Beaverbrooks focuses on providing information on repairs and services and within this role, you will be required to work both well within the team and to your own initiative as necessary. As a team, they strive to provide a quality, efficient and knowledgeable service; making the best decision every time.
Role Responsibility
- Processing of both customer and stock repairs- including making the decisions on where best to send the repairs for both: best quality repair and best cost.
- Booking of both customer and stock repairs- including ensuring all work has been carried out, communicating the costs to the stores, communicating charges to the customer and making decisions on how best to return to Stock.
- Inputting data onto the database
- Liaising with suppliers and stores
- Processing relevant admin
- Processing post

- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal

- Ability to prioritise
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- A good team player
- Ability to work to own initiative
- Good decision-making skills
- Computer literate
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Flexibility to work the hours required for business needs is desirable
