Senior Events Coordinator

  • £31,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 40 hours per week
  • Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. This role requires regular office presence with option of hybrid working available. 
  • Closing date 15th December 2024


We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a passion for events management, to join our dynamic and passionate marketing team. This role is a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Working with the events manager, you will execute a variety of in-store and offsite events for Beaverbrooks, Loupe and some of our globally recognised brand partners. 

The 40+ annual events are held to support our stores and boutiques in developing close and profitable relationships with clients, to drive high value watch and jewellery sales.

Whilst event management experience is desirable, it’s not essential for this role. The ideal person will have knowledge of Beaverbrooks, our product and brand partners along with the other skills mentioned below.

Due to the nature of the role, there will be an expectation to work some weekday evenings to support our event calendar. Also, a full UK driving license is essential as travel is required to stores across the estate and event venues nationwide. The use of our company pool car would be available when needed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and improving our Beaverbrooks and Loupe events calendar, and ensuring all elements are delivered on time and on budget
  • Working closely with our store and boutique teams to organise guestlists, invitations and general event organisation 
  • Working closely with the events assistant on event research; everything from venues, goody bags, entertainment and transport 
  • Responsible for coordinating event logistics and transporting equipment and product (including event insurance) 
  • Responsible for drafting event briefs and reviewing supplier/venue contracts
  • Managing and improving relationships with our event agency and brand partners
  • Main lead on larger projects i.e. Rolex offsite events  
  • Owns reporting and post event communication

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience in a coordinator or supervisor role
  • A passion for events management
  • Knowledge of Beaverbrooks products and our brand partners
  • Highly organised with exceptional time management skills
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident, independent decision maker
  • Proactive, adaptable individual
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to work using own initiative, as well as with team members accordingly
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Confident communicator when dealing with colleagues, supplier agencies and clients across all communications
  • Budget management experience, with the ability to identify ways to make processes more time efficient/cost - effective
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Full UK driving license


DESIRABLE SKILLS

Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate would also have the following desirable skills and experience: 

  • Experience in event management
  • An interest or experience in luxury and fashion retail sectors, and the latest marketing trends
