Job Introduction

  • Social Media Assistant (eCommerce)
  • Permanent 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
  • Lytham St Annes, Lancashire 
  • £23,500 per annum + benefits + bonus
  • Closing date: Monday 25th November
  • Informal Chats: 27th and 28th November and 1st stage: w/c 2nd December

We are seeking an individual with a passion for digital & social media and a desire to pursue a career within the fast-paced world of eCommerce, to join us here at Beaverbrooks as an eCommerce Social Media Assistant.  

As eCommerce Social Media Assistant, you will support the Content Marketing Team in implementing the organic social calendar across both Beaverbrooks and Loupe, a luxury watch and jewellery brand which is now part of the Beaverbrooks family. 


Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with executing the organic social calendar across both Beaverbrooks and Loupe.
  • Create engaging and industry-leading social content, including writing copy, creating assets and filming/editing video content.
  • Support with the coordination of campaign photography/video shoots 
  • Help to coordinate and attend video shoots and will also be comfortable with being on camera to model jewellery & watches.
  • Schedule and publish social posts across platforms. 
  • Support with the community management of our social channels, including engaging with user comments/messages/posts.
  • Assist with the monitoring of Pixlee, our social user generated content tool.
  • Help to execute social initiatives like competitions to grow our followers and ensure we are meeting social objectives.
  • Support with compiling social media reports and presentation decks.
  • Attend Beaverbrooks and Loupe events to produce live and ‘behind the scenes’ social content for our channels.
  • Work closely with the wider Performance Marketing and Marketing teams to ensure our social calendars are aligned with wider business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A strong passion for social media and experience of creating social content
  • Experience using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest
  • Experience shooting and editing video content for social
  • Basic Photoshop skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency 
  • A passion for online shopping and industry-leading content
  • Ability to excel whilst working towards tight deadlines in a fast-paced, reactive environment

 DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of working within an eCommerce team

  • Knowledge of jewellery, watches and fashion trends  

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar social media role
