We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for digital and a desire to pursue a creative career within the fast-paced world of eCommerce, to join us here at Beaverbrooks Head Office as eCommerce Content Assistant/ Copywriter.
In this exciting and varied role, you will work within the eCommerce Content Team and support a variety of content functions, including copywriting, creating assets and editing online content.

Role Responsibility
As the eCommerce Content Assistant/Copywriter, you will:
- Support the needs of the Content Team across a variety of content functions, including copywriting, creating assets and editing online content.
- Write both longform and shortform copy across a wide variety of channels, including the website, blog, email, social and offline marketing materials, ensuring you’re adhering to the Beaverbrooks tone of voice.
- Create engaging and on-brand assets for digital channels, including the website, social and the blog.
- Support with the monitoring of the blog, The Beaverbrooks Journal, uploading posts within Squarespace.
- Use the Web Content Management System to upload and edit online content, supporting with the maintenance of the website,
- Support the Content Manager and Assistant Content Manager in compiling reports,
- Be responsible for the uploading and monitoring of the online product reviews.
- Support with the coordination of campaign photography/video shoots.
- Support the eCommerce and Marketing teams with other functions where required.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential skills/experience
- Previous copywriting experience is essential for this role.
- Basic Photoshop skills
- Passion for online shopping and digital content
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
- Excel working towards deadlines and in a fast-paced, reactive environment
Desirable skills/experience
- Experience working within an eCommerce team
- Experience in Adobe AfterEffects or a similar programme
- Basic understanding of SEO
- Knowledge of jewellery, watches and fashion trends
