eCommerce Digital Marketing & Trade Assistant

Job Introduction

We have a fantastic opportunity for an eCommerce Digital Marketing & Trade Assistant to join our growing eCommerce team at our Beaverbrooks Head Office in Lytham St.Annes.

As Digital Marketing & Trade Assistant, you will have an exciting and varied role; supporting the growth of our website through digital marketing channels such as Social, Paid & Organic Search and Affiliates. You will also get involved with a variety of trading tasks, including maintenance of the online product catalogue, image processing, testing and reporting.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the delivery of digital marketing activities:
    • Work with our internal content team and external agency to brief and schedule ad campaigns across social media
    • Assist with paid and organic search, including keyword research, ad creation, on-page optimisations and bid management
    • Contribute to the maintenance of our affiliate program
    • Carry out regular analysis of digital marketing activity and assist with reporting
  • Support with a variety of trading tasks:
    • Process and publish new products and media assets
    • Assist with photo shoots as and when required, which may involve sending stock to photographers and supervising on-site shoots
    • Carry out regular competitor reviews and report on promotional activity
    • Conduct manual fraud reviews to support with fraud prevention

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • A passion for online shopping and the internet
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience assisting with digital marketing campaigns
  • An understanding of social media channels and advertising functions
  • Experience using Google Analytics/Google Ads/Search Console
  • Awareness/understanding of SEO
