Job Title: eCommerce Merchandiser

Location: Head Office, Lytham St.Annes 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm 

​Salary: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per annum

Close date: 30th April 2019

We have a fantastic opportunity for an eCommerce Merchandiser to join our growing eCommerce team here at our Head Office in Lytham St.Annes.

As the eCommerce Merchandiser, you will own all aspects of online merchandising across the full product range. Commercially-minded and a lover of data, you’ll use analytics to identify sales opportunities and gain an in-depth understanding of customer behaviour. This is a very hands-on role and requires a strong team player who wants to be heavily involved in day-to-day online trading.

Role Responsibility

  • Review the performance of key product categories and react to any shifts in sales patterns
  • Ensure best sellers, new lines and hot products are exposed to customers
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and continually optimise these in response to online performance
  • Monitor and manage web stock levels, ensuring that product availability is maximised
  • Conduct daily site reviews to check and optimise product placement and presentation
  • Work closely with the Buyers and Head of Merchandising to advise of availability and ensure stockholding is optimised              
  • Monitor and manage sell through of discontinued stock through the web channel
  • Lead the merchandising strategy for the homepage, category pages and landing pages
  • Take ownership of product recommendations, ensuring the engine is optimised and adhering to business rules
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly trade updates reporting on web sales performance

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A strong passion for eCommerce and online shopping
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good command of the English Language
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • A commercial mindset
  • 2 years’ experience in an eCommerce or Merchandising role
  • Experience using Google Analytics or a similar analytics package  

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Educated to Degree Level
