Job Introduction

  • Permanent- 37.5 hours per week 
  • Lytham St Annes
  • £22,000-£25,000 per annum depending on experience + excellent benefits

We now have an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for photography to join our rapidly growing eCommerce Trade team at Beaverbrooks Head Office, as eCommerce Photography Coordinator. In this fast-paced and exciting role you will be responsible for organising photography for both our beautiful Loupe and Beaverbrooks products.

The role will be extremely varied and will see you take responsibility for a range of tasks; from project managing our photography calendar to ensure we’re meeting our objectives, to preparing for and running shoots, to being hands on with our beautiful product.

This role is based at our office in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. We are a social and culture centric company so whilst there will be some flexibility to work remotely, there would also be the expectation to spend most of the working week from our office. This can be discussed further at interview.

Role Responsibility

  • Managing our photography production plan ensuring we are shooting on a regular basis
  • Working with our internal Stock-In and Web Fulfilment teams to ensure stock is available for photography
  • Booking and preparing studios for planned photoshoots
  • Booking models and photographers for our planned shoots along with supporting with the styling of the models
  • Working with the Trading Assistant to pick, pack and prepare stock for photoshoots
  • Managing our relationships with external agencies and negotiating costs
  • Working with the Trading and Operations Manager to ensure we are hitting our targets whilst working inside our budgets
  • Creating monthly photography reports and distributing to relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining our photography guidelines
  • Constantly reviewing competitors and other eCommerce sites for inspiration to improve what we do
  • Work with the Merchandise Coordinator to ensure new product launches are to plan and meet our minimum photography guidelines
  • At times, support the Digital Marketing and Content teams with their photography requirements
  • Support, where required, with the editing, cropping and uploading of images to the website

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Great project management experience
  • Great experience using Adobe Photoshop to view, edit and format images
  • A creative flair and eye for detail
  • Passion for online shopping
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A strong communicator with a strong command of the English language with excellent writing skills
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience using Microsoft NAV, particularly for stock movements
  • Previous experience in a photography role
  • Previous experience using project planning tools such as Trello, Airtable, Roadmunk, Monday.com
  • Knowledge of jewellery, watches and fashion brands
