Salary: £18,000-£20,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for an eCommerce Trade & Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing eCommerce Trade team at Beaverbrooks Head Office in Lytham St.Annes.

As our Trade & Digital Marketing Assistant, you will have an exciting and varied role; supporting the growth of our website through digital marketing channels such as PPC, Social, SEO and Affiliates. You will also get involved with a variety of trading tasks, including maintenance of the online product catalogue, merchandising, image processing, testing and reporting

Role Responsibility

  • Support the delivery of digital marketing activities:
    • Work with our internal content team and external agency to support with providing assets, scheduling campaigns and reviewing creative for Social Media
    • Assist with paid (PPC) and organic (SEO) search, including keyword research, ad creation, on-page optimisations and bid management
    • Support with the maintenance of our affiliate program, helping to co-ordinate exclusive offers and manage new publishers
    • Carry out regular analysis of digital marketing activity and assist with reporting
  • Support with a variety of trading tasks:
    • Support with the processing/publishing of new products and media assets
    • Assist with photo shoots as and when required, which may involve sending stock to photographers and supervising on-site shoots
    • Carry out regular competitor reviews and report on promotional activity
    • Assist with the roll out of promotions and offers such as Sale
    • Support the team in improving overall user experience

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • A passion for online shopping and the internet
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience assisting with or managing digital marketing campaigns
  • An understanding of social media channels and advertising functions
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Search Console is preferable but not essential
  • Awareness/understanding of SEO
