Job Introduction

  • 37.5 hours per week Monday- Friday 9am-5pm 
  • Lytham St Annes
  • £19,000-£21,000 per annum depending on experience + excellent benefits

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for trade and merchandising to join our fast-growing eCommerce team at our Head Office in Lytham St Annes. This exciting new role will focus on our luxury watch and jewellery brand, Loupe, whose eCommerce site will launch at the start of next year.

As a Merchandising (Trading) Assistant for Loupe you will report into the Assistant eCommerce Trading Manager and will support with the trading and merchandising of the Loupe website- all with the ultimate aim of presenting the right products to our customers at the right time.

This is a varied and exciting role, which will see you involved in a range of tasks; from assisting with product launches, to image processing and onsite merchandising, to also supporting our Photography Coordinator with Loupe photoshoots too.

We are based at our head office in Lytham St Annes but our teams are currently operating a hybrid way of working with a mix of home and remote working. This can be discussed further at interview.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Supporting with the processing and publishing of new products onsite
  • Uploading copy and image assets to our product catalogue
  • Providing support to the Photography Coordinator with the deliveries of stock to and from photographers as well as supporting with any internal shoots
  • Supporting the Photography Coordinator to ensure we’re hitting our photography targets and meeting the deadlines in our production plan
  • Assisting with the online roll out of campaigns and promotions
  • Working with the eCommerce Assistant Trading Manager to optimise onsite search and merchandising
  • Working closely with the internal teams as well as our brands to ensure we keep up to date with the latest product launches and are keeping aligned with the brand guidelines
  • Conducting regular auditing checks on the Loupe website-reviewing product specifications, prices and category placements
  • Carrying out frequent checks of competitor websites to assess the market for promotions, discounts, and other areas of Trade such as photography

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Passion for online shopping
  • Highly organised and motivated
  • A strong command of the English language
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ecommerce experience or passion for Ecommerce
  • Experience using Microsoft NAV, particularly stock movements and product setup
  • Photoshop or equivalent image editing experience
  • Knowledge of jewellery, watches and fashion brands
