  • £22,384.79 per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Beaverbrooks Repairs department as a Repairs Communications Assistant. As Beaverbrooks’ Repairs Communications Assistant, you will be responsible for responding to all emails and phone calls within an agreed deadline. Confirming all customer estimates to send onto stores and advising stores on any general enquiries or repair queries they have & provide regular updates to our stores, office colleagues & external partners on the status of customer repairs.  


The Repairs Department at Beaverbrooks focuses on providing Information on repairs and services and within this role, you will be required to work well within the team and to your own initiative as necessary. As a team, they strive to provide a quality, efficient and knowledgeable service; making the best decision, every time.   

 

Main Responsibilities  

  • Communicate with stores, manufacturers and workshops, via phone and email
  • Confirming customer estimates to stores
  • Advising with general enquiries and queries
  • Chasing outstanding customer repairs with suppliers 
  • Processing post: sorting and dividing store repair parcels
  • Generating & updating reports relating to customer repairs 
  • General admin to support other areas of the department

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Experience of, and passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent typing speed and the ability to respond quickly and effectively during phone calls and email
  • Computer literate as well as a confident user of Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Excellent rapport building skills
  • Empathetic, caring and an active listener
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Ability to demonstrate objective complaint handling
  • Assertive

 DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

  • Experience of a similar role providing customer support via telephone and email
  • Experience of working to process 
  • Knowledge of working with jewellery 
  • Flexibility to work additional hours to support business requirements at peak times
