We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Visual Image team wishing to pursue a career in Display and Visual Merchandising.

This is an extensive role, ideal for a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for Visual Merchandising.

As Display and Visual Merchandising Assistant, you will be an integral part of the team ensuring we positively influence sales through consistently high standards. Supplying our stores with the required display orders is vital to their success.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fulfilment of display orders, supporting stores with any requests or challenges to educate and/ or provide solutions.
  • Coordinating display deliveries and management of our storeroom.
  • Communicating effectively with our suppliers to ensure requirements are ordered and received within timeframes and at the agreed quality. 
  • Communicating effectively with our brand partners to ensure our stores receive the display equipment needed and help them to develop the displays to our required specification.
  • Ordering of the display equipment including auditing and working within an agreed budget.
  • Gathering and recording information and data to support the Visual Merchandising team.
  • Communicating effectively within the department regarding Visual Merchandising initiatives and proposals.
  • Support our Visual Merchandising team to achieve agreed objectives, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and within the agreed time frames. 
  • Coordinating our visual merchandising guidelines and communicating to our stores.  
  • Support with new product and display launches.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Keen interest and passion for Visual Merchandising and Beaverbrooks.  
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
  • Confidence communicating across all channels.
  • Down-to-earth approach and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
  • Motivated to work individually and in a team.
  • Basic Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Power-point).
  • Experience creating instructions and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • Flexibility with working hours at specific times (i.e. store and supplier visits).
  • Willingness and ability to learn about our brand and products, the people we work with, their roles and of course how we merchandise our product.

 

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Visual Merchandising and / or retail environment. 
  • Ability to create and present PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience developing or using Visual Merchandising guidelines.
  • Experience in budget control.
