- Hours: 40 hours per week 12-18 month contract
- Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus bonus and benefits.

We’re looking for an experienced Ecommerce Product Manager to join our Digital & Brand Experience team on a maternity cover contract.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of our ecommerce platforms, leading a small team while shaping the future of our online experience. Working closely with our Head of Digital & Brand Experience, you will define and deliver the product roadmap across beaverbrooks.co.uk and loupe.co.uk, prioritising features and enhancements to ensure an exceptional customer journey.
It also includes overseeing the ongoing performance, development and stability of our platforms, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to create seamless, enjoyable online experiences. It will suit an experienced Product Manager or a Product Owner ready to take the next step.
Based at our Lytham office, this is a primarily office-based role with some flexibility for home working, to be discussed at interview.
Main Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the product roadmap, working closely with the Head of Digital & Brand Experience to shape key initiatives
- Lead the delivery of new features from initial idea through to launch and review
- Prioritise the product backlog in line with business needs, using frameworks such as RICE
- Ensure all releases are thoroughly tested and deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Regularly review customer journeys and gather feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Build strong relationships with our systems integrator and their engineering teams
- Monitor website performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve stability and performance
- Work collaboratively to optimise infrastructure and prepare for peak trading periods, including Black Friday
- Take ownership of resolving any major platform issues or outages
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR, PCI and cookie legislation
- Manage the product development budget, ensuring delivery remains on track and within scope
- Support wider budget tracking and reporting across key projects and workstreams

The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of software development, architecture and web technologies
- Confidence managing both internal teams and external partners
- Experience delivering projects and managing budgets
- Previous people management experience
- Excellent communication skills, with an open and collaborative approach
- The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a Product role (Manager, Owner or similar)
- A strong understanding of retail and ecommerce
- Experience using monitoring and performance tools
